An A4e Submission 'Partnerships for Effective Delivery of Public Services'
National Debate on Public Service Reform and the Comprehensive Spending Review: An A4e Submission 'Partnerships for Effective Delivery of Public Services'
Public Service Partnerships are key to improved value for money in public services and A4e has highlighted the effective delivery of public services through partnerships, as its contribution to the debate on the shape of next year's government spending review. Drawing on its unparallelled experience in managing and delivering public services that improve people's lives, A4e discusses how an increase in partnerships across the public, private and voluntary/community sectors can deliver the better value for money being sought by ministers as part of the 2007 Comprehensive Spending Review.
A4e's submission covers programme delivery in key areas of government policy, including:
-
helping people back into work
-
moving to a demand-led skills strategy
-
improving public services through the Lead Contractor or Prime Contractor approach
-
education and skills contributing to a more inclusive and enterprising society
-
helping businesses to grow
-
combating financial exclusion in disadvantaged communities
