If you'd like to access impartial legal advice then we can help you

Legal Aid Services

A4e believes that fair access to justice for all, regardless of their means is a key foundation of a just society. Legal aid is there to help people do exactly that and as part of A4e's mission to improve peoples lives we have formed an innovative partnership with Howells, a major provider of legal aid services across South Yorks, to increase access and improve the quality of legal advice provision especially for those most in need.

The A4e/Howells partnership delivers free, impartial legal advice over the telephone through the Community Legal Services Direct helpline covering employment, housing, debt and benefits law, as well as a recent mandate to deliver family law on a pilot basis. This service is delivered on behalf of the Legal Services Commission.

A4e/Howells are also pursuing the ability to take our unique brand and offer out on a face-to-face basis through the growing network of Community Legal Advice Centres in partnership both with the Legal Services Commission and Local Authorities. Whatever the channel we remain committed to delivering a quality service that is accessible to clients in need.
