Business Success for Childcare

Business Success for Childcare is a national programme of business support training for the childcare sector. From 2003 to 2005 we delivered business support training and capacity building to over 40,000 childcare providers nationally, through over 2000 training workshops.

Childminders and other child carers, including nurseries and playgroups, were able to attend workshops that delivered tailored training that covered all aspects of business management, including marketing and pricing.

Independent analysis of the programme indicated that 95% of team managed businesses managed their business more effectively as a result of the training.

Business Success for Childcare is now available to Local Authorities looking to supplement their existing business support activities.
