Working in partnership with Local Government

A4e has been delivering services on behalf of the UK government for over twenty years and is increasingly working in partnership with Local Government to deliver services to individuals and communities. These services span a range of disciplines but are linked by one common thread; they all help to improve people’s lives, which is the core value that A4e was founded on.

A4e is a professional provider of services to the public sector, with a proven track record of delivering services into some of the most challenging and disadvantaged wards across the country. We bring with us a wealth of experience gained both nationally and internationally, but we understand that the key to delivering programmes successfully is to work closely with local partners. Our aim is always to build strong networks with all local stakeholders and partners so that we can develop a tailored service. We pride ourselves on providing services that are delivered empathetically and are firmly rooted in the community.

We work with Local Authorities to tackle their hardest problems and bring communities together by empowering their residents to:

· Take control of their own social care

· Access professional, impartial advice on money/debt / benefits/legal aid and education enabling them to make an informed choice

· Access advice and training to tackle worklessness

We are also developing programmes that will support Local Government’s with the work they undertake in community health, library provision and the Green Agenda.
