Apprenticeships and Adult Apprenticeships give people the opportunity to gain a recognised qualification related to their job and career aspirations. It improves business performance by directly contributing to increased competitiveness, profitability, productivity and quality.

Apprenticeships will:

• Ensure there are clear progression routes for staff to reach higher levels in your organisation and make your business attractive to high calibre applicants
• Encourage staff to embrace company values, increasing staff morale and retention
• Increase employee productivity - this will offset the cost of the training making apprenticeships a better value for money option than many'non-apprentice' courses
• Enable employees to train on the job, with everyday tasks and responsibilities in the work place making up large elements of train

Apprenticeships are available at Level 2 and Level 3 and incorporate a National Vocational Qualification, Key Skills (numeracy and literacy) and valuable technical certificates which test the knowledge and understanding of your employees about the work they do.

Naturally we will be able to advise you fully on the apprenticeship that would be most suitable for your business and your employees. Both types of Apprenticeship are recognised nationally and demand high standards of quality and performance. As part of the Apprenticeship, your employees will gain National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), which are broken down into units and recognise the competence of people in their workplace - they are nationally recognised and allow your staff to gain new skills and move forward in their careers.
